Sophie trained as an actor at Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, where it was encouraged to write, perform and produce your own work. It was in this creative environment that Sophie wrote and performed in her first play, Tracy, winning the prestigious ‘Best Of’ award and gaining full sponsorship at Edinburgh Fringe. After winning IdeasTap’s New Writing Award in London, and further development, Tracy played at Old Red Lion and Underbelly, Edinburgh Fringe, where it received five stars and finally transferred to Crazy Coqs, Live at Zedel in Soho. Tracy is now being re-developed for the screen, and looking for a TV production company to home it.
Along the way, Sophie has had rehearsed readings of her work at Courtyard Theatre and her recent mini-play, Trolls was performed at Theatre 503’s Rapid Response Night.
